Toranomon

Toranomon is a bustling district located in the Minato ward in the heart of Tokyo and is surrounded by several other popular districts, including Roppongi, Akasaka, and Shinbashi. The area has a reputation for being a hub of business and commerce in Tokyo, with many multinational companies and financial institutions located here. The district is characterized by its modern architecture and high-rise buildings, as well as its wide range of restaurants, cafes, and shops.

Toranomon is a densely populated area, with a mix of residential and commercial spaces, attracting a diverse community of residents and visitors. Being one of the most expensive areas in Tokyo, Toranomon features luxurious and high-end properties, including high-rise apartments with panoramic views of the city. Due to its central location and desirability, property prices in Toranomon are notably higher than in other parts of Tokyo.

Adjacent to Toranomon is the highly sought-after neighborhood of Azabudai. Despite its relatively small size, the district plays an essential role in expat life and international business in Tokyo. It’s home to the Tokyo American Club, the Russian Embassy, the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and Housing Japan’s office.

Toranomon and the surrounding areas are popular among international residents and businesses due to the high concentration of embassies located there. With many amenities, including luxury housing, international schools, and a diverse community, these areas offer everything needed for a comfortable and convenient expat experience.
